The Mod Meet Up was a regular event on Club Penguin Online, where players could meet the Staff Team. Each Mod Meet Up featured a quiz in game, where the first penguin to answer correctly won coins, or even an item of their choice. Mod Meet Ups always happened either on Fridays or Saturdays, with many mods attending. Administrators were in charge of the questions. The Mod Meet Ups were also very popular with the community, and the server was often full up to an hour before the event started.
Trivia
- The Mod Meet Up announcements and commands were given in a different discord server.
- The Mod Meet Up used to occur on a Friday.
- Although, ever since July 19, 2019, Mod Meet Ups occurred again on a Friday.
- Spanish and Portuguese communities hosted their own separate Mod Meet Ups.
- The Iceberg was often used for the quiz, given that you could fit many penguins into the room easily.
- The January 5, 2019 Mod Meet Up was split into two different servers due to lots of people attending, with the second group being hosted by Kiwii.
- The January 2, 2020 Mod Meet Up was hosted on a Thursday.
- March 15, 2020 Mod Meet Up was hosted on a Sunday.
- The April 11th Mod Meetup was split into 3 rooms, the Iceberg, Stadium, and Dock, hosted by Kiwii, Twaseen and Bayanh respectively. It was also hosted on Slippers.
