The Marvel Super Hero Takeover Party was a party in Club Penguin Online that began on May 3, 2018 and ended on May 17, 2018. During the event, players were required to collect all six Infinity Stones which would then allow them to defeat Thanos. Once all of the Infinity Stones were collected, Aunt Arctic gave players a Super Hero Hoodie.
The party was created to celebrate the release of the Avengers film, Infinity War. Because of this, a custom room was added to the party to recreate Wakanda, a setting for part of the film.
The Marvel Superhero Takeover Party also featured Club Penguin Online's first custom mascot. Thanos, the mad Titan of the Marvel comics, visited the island on multiple occasions, recruiting penguins to be apart of The Black Order, and giving away his custom background. Aunt Arctic also visited during this party.
